Vicki Marinker

From a full-time Recruiter to a full-time Coach in 8 months: Vicki Marinker is a CTI-trained coach who was drawn to coaching during lockdown.

Vicki launched her practice in July 2021, while still in a full-time Recruitment role.

She had a trickle of clients, through referrals and via LinkedIn. But she was frustrated that her coaching business wasn’t growing. She wasn’t clear on her offer, and felt stuck.

She joined the Abundant Coach Accelerator program in June 2022.

During Vicki’s first call with her cohort, she brought up the question of pricing and received feedback that it could be doubled for the type of coaching she is offering.

The outcome of that call was transformational. That afternoon Vicki signed up two new clients at the new price.

What’s more - it gave her the confidence that it could be possible to enjoy her lifestyle through coaching work alone!

Fast-forward 8 months - Vicki had a clear niche and offer and signed up 18 coaching clients! She built her business to a stage that could support her financially.

In January 2023 Vicki resigned from her recruitment job to be a full-time Career Coach.

Vicki now helps frazzled communications professionals to get confident and clear about their careers, and be the stand-out candidate for the jobs they really want.
